Just thought we would share this IG post from @kimwasabi since everyone wants silver and "ashy" hair these days. Wanted to emphasize the amt of time (14hours) that was put into this amazing hair. Plz remember to consult with your stylist when you're thinking of doing something "different" ... in most cases we need SO MUCH more time than what you may think it takes and.or multiple appts to achieve these specialty colors!
Just another share from BehindtheChair.com... this ashy balayage on already pre lightened hair took 3.5 hours!!! Good hair takes time! If it's good it ain't cheap, and if its cheap it ain't good. (Just an FYI, this particular stylist charged over $200 for this cut and color)
Just an FYI folks ... Silver is NOT a "natural" color. Just like pink, blue or purple etc, the fade is fast and to achieve this color, hair must be void of all.color (bleached out to white). Silver ash tones are all the rage right now BUT to get to the silvery shade you desire will take time and patience and can take several visits to achieve. (AVG appt is 3 to 4 hrs per session) It will also take homework ;) .. at home maintenance is a must!!! And can even require maintenance toning appts every 2-4wks.
