Meet Advisory Board Member and Mentor Frank Evans. Frank is an outstanding support system for the Academy and gives students and graduates opportunities while in school and after licensure. Frank and his Franchise have been instrumental assisting "dreams to come true" granting many students opportunities while in school by sponsoring them for State and National competitions for SkillsUSA along with donations and sponsorships to all of the events at ISSA. He and his Franchise, Great Clips, not only donates to our industry but also to our wonderful community. Children's Miracle Network and Memorial Hospitals NICU has been recipients of large donations raised by the wonderful Great Clips Employees and Teams at his locations. Frank's 38+ years with Junior Achievement brings educational light to our meetings and opens up many ideas of implantation to curriculum and industry needs. He values education and people. For me, flavored largely by my 38+ years with Junior Achievement, a national nonprofit that brings economics and business to life for young people (K-12), it is truly a thrill to watch our Stylists grow in their skills and confidence, and to celebrate them achieving milestones in their lives and careers! The only skill I directly bring to our shops … I can sweep hair.
