We had the opportunity to tour Systemic Formulas today. A local supplement company whose roots stem from a 20th century biochemist, A.S. “Doc” Wheelright, who formulated the original Systemic herbal/nutritional products after 50 years of research. Meet Amanda. Co-Owner and Skin care therapist at a.&.co. She specializes in the ancient art of sugaring hair removal and has a functional approach to skin care. After struggling with problematic skin herself she decided to learn how to help her own skin by enrolling at Fran Brown Collage of Beauty, graduating at the top of her Master Esthetics class in 2005. Following her graduation she mentored and worked under some highly influential women in her industry and then decided that after 12 years of growing professionally and personally it was time to bring her eco-friendly, ingredient aware, beauty care philosophies to life. She highly values her relationships with her guests and wants to bring sustainability to not only her personal life as a homesteader, but in her professional life as well and to the folks of O-town. She is an Ogden OG growing up next to dairy and turkey farms, along cattail-filled ditches on the rural outskirts of the city. She currently resides in Liberty, UT on a small farm with her husband and their daughter, their two fury children

Meet Alexandra, Alex, Ali, Al... she will answer to any of them! For those that don't already know, the new space will have hair stylists, making us a full-service salon and spa. Now you can truly one-stop-shop for all of your sustainable beauty needs! Alexandra is co-owner of a.&co. and brings her impeccable skills and knowledge as an Aveda trained stylist. She recently moved to Ogden bringing along with her her passion and strong drive for professionalism within our industry. Alexandra is a local to Northwest Indiana. She completed her program at the The Aveda Institute of Chicago in 2008 then continued immediately working for an Aveda salon for 5 years before moving abroad where she continued to run a small hair business from her home. Alexandra and her husband reside in Liberty, UT with their daughter where they continue their love for the outdoors and travel. She enjoys cooking and entertaining as well as practicing yoga and painting. She is also very fond of the arts, particularly old, classic movies. Alexandra believes that there is a sense of customer service and overall esthetic that she can really bring to Ogden-ites. She has a natural beauty inside and out and an eye for timeless style for her guests that you'll be sure to love. We can't wait for you to meet her! I am WAY too excited not to share these results from our CIT (collagen induction therapy AKA microneedling) model 5 days ago!
