The foundation of Look at Me Now Lash Lounge started from my amazing sister! @jamiesnider99 @lashes_direct she taught me and molded me before there was all the social media world as we know it today. So much history to go back on, however I will stand today and say true relationships and true word of mouth advertising is where we began! Social media has evolved in such a way we get so caught up in it. However here she is 10 years at lashing...me 7 years and trying to figure out the best way to approach our next goal? Lashing right now is huge, being amazing and artistic is a must....when do we stop to think about our quality? Should that not be priority? Social media I see so many posts focused on branding, which is fine, however if we are all united in putting out quality, safe, amazing work....is that not what is most important?

I was reminded the other day not to compare myself to someone else's "Instagram Life". I sometimes get envious of another woman's business and feel like I somehow should be where she's at. It took a post from a friend about not comparing my life to someone else's Instagram "highlight reel" to realize that I am exactly where I should be. Sure, maybe I'm not exactly where I want to be in life quite yet, but I am passionate about my business. ​ We all have our insecurities and our pain points. Eyelash extensions may seem like such a simple or vain beauty service. But as someone who eats, sleeps, and breaths lashes, I can tell you that there is no greater gratification for me as a lash artist than when a new client opens up her eyes at the end of our appointment and looks into the mirror to see her new lashes. Common reactions are squeals of joy, laughter and disbelief at how amazing they look, or a big huge smile that they finally recognize the beauty they posess that the rest of the world already sees. 3 years ago today this amazing lady started working at Look at Me Now Lash Lounge, she is a very talented Master Lash Artist, and an amazing mother to the cutest little boy! Audrie has always been a hard worker, she has taken care of her clients, since day one she put in work. She would stay after hours, come in on days off to finish someone to make sure her work was always quality. Time is something she has always taken, quality work cannot be rushed and she took her time until she has become an amazing artist! I am super grateful for the day we met and the relationship we have. @audriespjute love you lady!!! Here's to many more years!!
