I wanted to take this time to give a huge shoutout and thank you to a great brotha. @quezscreations , you a good dude. Quez came to the shop this morning to give me this piece of art he personally made. It’s an oldschool basketball hoop and backboard, with a ball with a lot of inspirational words on it. The hoop has wires in it so that when you place the ball in it, the ball will stay in the hoop. I can’t believe it’s been almost 12 years since I met this guy. I’ve been cutting the hair of NBA players for over 19 years now, servicing more than 200 players from the Bucks and visiting teams, and this guy is definitely one of the REAL ONES, a standout guy. He’s played with 8 teams, with 3 of those years with the Milwaukee Bucks, and he’s always kept in touch with me and comes through to get cut whenever he’s in town. One of the main reasons a player can last 12 years in the league and still get picked up by teams is when you’re a good dude. Nowadays it takes more than just talent, trust me.
