The Meaning Behind the Brand Distinctions. Distinctions was birthed from the 20 plus years in the salon industry. I have encountered many women with many stories. Each had a Distinct nature that allowed their beauty to transform inspite of .....I started in the industry at 15....Salon owner at 21 and a young mom. Outside of the wonderful foundation of hard work and resilience my mom, Cloris Laster instilled in me ...the salon and encounter with women help prepare me for this transition.
